Happy Sunday to my lovely readers. On Thursday October 22, 2015 I was honored to attend the Investigation Discovery and Glamour magazine Inspire a Difference Honors event. The night honors event was filled with motivational, inspiring and committed people who want to educate by empowering others.
Glamour and Investigation Discovery partnered to recognize four women who were personally affected by their supported issues and decided to speak up, stand tall and assist others going through the isssues of crime and social injustices. The night was dedicated to inspire healing, offer insight and options on how we can make a difference in our every day lives just as the honorees.
The welcome remarks given by Danica Lo (Digital Editor at Large, Glamour), Henry Schleiff (Group President, Investigation Discovery, American Heroes Channel and Destination American was the ceremony host who kept the attendees in high spirit and laughter with his witty delivery and Kristen Paruginog (Found/Executive Director of Break the Silence Against Domestic Violence) made the Everyday Hero Presentation as she was the recipient of the 2014 award.
There was not one single dry eye in the audience as the dedicated, courageous and influential honorees spoke at the podium. The four incredible women who were honored for their bravery, involvement and hard work were: Angie Harmon, Grace Gealey, Annalynne McCord and Beverly Gooden. Barbara Walters even made an appearance to this wonderful night of recognition.
