Hey splashy readers I have to splash you in on last night… Are you enjoying the weather? Rooftops, no rain drops, cooking in your backyard because inside is a hot box. See what I did there? Lol I hope you all are enjoying the weather in New York City as much as I am.

Fuji Film had a launch party for the new (drum roll please) the most innovative camera yet – the INSTAX Square SQ10. Guests were welcomed into the Bathhouse Studios and entered the #FujiFilmWonderland. What did it include you ask? An interactive platform to kick off the launch of the Instax Square SQ10 including jugglers, people on stilts, card magicians and the always so appreciated tunes of DJ D-Nice.

Also in attendance was former Miss Universe Puerto Rico, Bodine Koehler, Yaris Sanchez, Ryan Destiny (of Star on Fox), Coodie Simmons, Chantelle Fraser – star of BRAVO TV’s “Blood, Sweat, and Heels”, Amilna Estevao starring in Tom Ford’s Campaign and June Ambrose.

Two levels of fun, entertainment and interactive activities. Mudding Memories provided signature cocktails my favorite of the night was The Square Root and there were plenty of delicious hors d’oeuvres to go around. Later in the evening the pop band AJR was introduced to some and drew their core fans to the front as they performed with high octane energy.

The events production was curated by ATD Production in partnership with Six Wings Events. And boy did they do a great job with every twist and turn of the mirror glass maze was an opportunity for a photo op with an interesting setup or to a secret bar. There were enlarged picture frames backdrops, projected images on the walls and so much more! As influencers exited the launch party a special gift bag was issued. I took selfies with Ryan Destiny, two stepped with June Ambrose and danced the night away to DJ D-Nice. Overall, it was a great night and definitely a party for the books!

Press Release: #iSmileForAngele is a campaign that was started as a motivational concept for Chanel Speedy to strive towards excellence after facing a common life adversity. In May the day before Mother’s Day, Chanel Speedy faced a huge loss in her life that left her in low spirits. She lost her beloved grandmother Angele Armande Henry September 22, 1944 - May 10, 2014); affectionately known as Angie to her St. Maarten community they had an amazing connection; this left Chanel Speedy feeling defeated because Angele meant the world to her. Angele’s presence made Chanel Speedy’s Splashy World more radiant and for those who had the opportunity of knowing Angele could not help but love her.

Angele was an angel on Earth from her displaying unconditional love, relentless support, and the willingness to always lend assistance to anyone in need. Angele’s legacy will continue through this incentive program in servicing others in need for the betterment of addressing social issues. Angele’s demise triggered the fire of the reason for Chanel Speedy Splashing back and contributing to the community on a higher level.

“I have watched my grandmother gave so much of herself to ensure that everyone around her was comfortable, feed and just by her dedicating her life to making others smile was the perfect opportunity to promote this incentive program in honor of her memorial. In a few words she was one of a kind, her presence was always felt and I am grateful that I was able to have her within my life. My grandmother gave my life purpose a greater purpose, it took me a while cope with her absence however, while I am here #iSmileforAngele that is my inspiration.” – Chanel Speedy

The #iSmileForAngele incentive program will include:

- Public speaking during Career Day
– Acts of kindness
– Feeding the less fortunate
– Providing money for College to High School students
– Photography project showcasing people smiling and the story behind it
– Splashgiving program
and much more as opportunities to collaborate with other companies are presented.

We have to #StartSmall in order to inspire and make a bigger impact. Angele’s legacy will never to be forgotten. This campaign is to keep her legacy alive. Help Chanel Speedy by donating to this incentive program all for a great cause.

“Our dead are never dead to us, until we have forgotten them” – George Eliot
