February 16, 2015

Hiiii splashy readers. Are you keeping warm? I AM!!! I’m in love with the coco (repeat twice; inserts my dance here). And that’s a reference to coco as in hot chocolate haha. Keep it cute. It has been a great week I hope everyone has been enjoying Fashion Weeek, Valentine’s day and All Star Weekend because I have been. This week has been a blessing reconnecting, networking and having a grand time with the Kewl Kids as well as basketball and fashion enthusiasts whoop!

I have been in better spirits and have been working on some great projects that will simultaneously be released. I appreciate all of my splashy readers that have taken the time to email me regarding my well being, donating to the #iSmileforAngele campaign and inspiring me to continue to keep making positive strides. HUGS.

I will give you a recap of some of my week activities. There was a lot of running around, gifting suites and smiles.

MONDAY: VIP Lexus #vidalexus event

image

Everytime I go out I am most likely with the Kewl Kids. We are LEGO pieces; separately we all serve a purpose to connect to make something big. Whenever we come together we help each other complete the bigger puzzle by making a masterpiece. We all have careers in different fields such as: fashion, music, photography, sports, media, and etc.

The Lexus event was not our final destination we went to Cielo afterwards. We were greeted by a lady who was illuminated and was hoola hooping. We are Kewl Kids but this is a grown up table haha.

TUESDAY: BAILEY’S Chocolate Cherry launch at Milk River and Open Door restaurant

image

The Bailey’s Chocolate Cherry launch event was cutesy. The shot girls were very friendly and the bartenders kept the drinks flowing. There was also passed appetizers and a gift bag filled with a Bailey’s T-shirt, Bailey’s loition, mirror and chapstick.

A few Kewl Kids were in the building :-). We didn’t stop there it was my first time at the restaurant called Open Door and I heard so much about the meatloaf I was sold at bacon. It was a hardboiled egg inside of a portion meatloaf wrapped in bacon with a side of mash. All I can say is it was love because I don’t have a picture to show for it.

WEDNESDAY: Sophisticated Wedding launch party at Tribeca Rooftop

image

The decor was amazingly crafted by MWD Lifestyles. I had a great time there was an assortment of food, desserts and candy station. The shrimp and cheeses were my favorite. What is an event without a photobooth and props.

THURSDAY: Ducati Triumph NYC event and The Starter x Villa All Star DJ Experience event at Paramount

image

The Ducati event food was catered by Chef Roblé and Damian Lillard stopped by to check out the event. This was a smooth event the DJ definitely made the party jump. The night was empowered by Ortiz.

Following the Ducati event I headed to the Paramount Hotel for the All Star DJ Experience brought to you by Starter and VILLA. The vibe was cool and everyone was enjoying theirselves.

FRIDAY: Lulu’s Fashion Week Blogger’s event at 404 NYC

image

The night was full of surprises from sponsors such as: clothing given by White Crow, make overs and massages done by Shea Moisture, drinks provided by Hpnotiq, manicures given by 100 percent pure and so much more.

I was the lucky winner of a $500 Lulu’s gift card in which I so surprised and grateful to receive. I love Lulu’s clothes. There was an amazing gifting suite and Lulu’s definitely kicked off my weekend. Thanks for everything!

SATURDAY: Emerging designers fashion show at Affinia hotel, NBA All-Star Weekend 4th Annual Art of Luxury Beauty/Grooming Lounge hosted by Tameka “Tiny Harris and Bravo TV RHOA’s Demetria McKinney at Maru, Baby Ghost Fall/Winter presentation at POP 14 and the Christian Benner show at Sugarcube

But wait let me take a selfie 🙂

Onto the Christian Benner show which was for a great cause there were green Sharpie’s on the table with a note attached stating to write “Don’t give up” and take a selfie in support of the Road recovery. It is to help heal kids of mental illness and other adversities through music.

The band and live entertainment were phenomenal.

SUNDAY: Tonight is the most anticipated event of the weekend the NBA All Star game. Catch me if you can.

Until next time splashy readers
