The new hot spot is Harlem Hops
June 9, 2018

Are you ready for the new stop for Beer, Booze, Bites and Beats? Well look no further than Harlem Hops! Harlem Hops is located in the heart of Harlem (2268 Adam Clayton Powell Jr Blvd New York, NY 10030).

Harlem Hops is a black owned and operated business promoting, advocating and introducing the community to brewers of color. Harlem Hops is a collaborative effort of 3 friends. Kim Harris, Stacey Lee and Kevin Duane Bradford all shared a vision and accomplished major goals while establishing a brand to promote and uplift the culture.

This new spot is very cozy whether you are sitting at the bar or a low table top you will feel welcomed. Be sure to take in the decor and pay attention to the signs as they will make you smile. Did I mention Harlem Hops is equipped with a backyard? It is a space that is open to host your birthday parties, guys or girl’s night out or even your anniversary.

The beertenders are very knowledgeable in the area of craft beer. The beer flights are such a cute presentation and an exploration of your taste buds with selections of cider, IPA, Lager and so much more.

There is an array of tasty bites of sausage and pretzel, tater tots to the poppin patties (my favorite was the sausage and pepper patty). Be in for a spicy kick of flavorful deliciousness.

DJ Kamala Muse was in charge of the beats as she kept the party going with classic jams and an ode to Prince as the exclusive preview was indeed on his birthday. The booze include Purple Rain which is a refreshing specialty cocktail to honor the legend.

Special appearances included: Ariane (Love & Hip Hop Atlanta) and B. Scott (American television personality). Overall, if you are in Harlem support this new business and explore your palette, relax, social with a group of your friends because it is a VIBE!

The Grand Opening is June 9, 2018 from 4 p.m. until 2 a.m. Be sure to hashtag your experience at @HarlemHops on all social media platforms #beerporn #blackbeerculture #HarlemHops
